Below, meet a few of our fantastic Illuminate speakers:
Linda Brady
VBC Portfolio & Network Strategy Manager, Healthcare Strategy & Wellbeing, The Boeing Company
In her role at Boeing, Brady—who has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry—manages the overall portfolio of Boeing’s value-based care (VBC) direct-contracting initiatives. Prior to Boeing, she was a consultant at two of the leading health benefits consulting firms, where she advised large complex organizations on their healthcare benefits strategy. At Illuminate, Brady will be speaking on the panel, “The Elephant in the Room: COVID’s Impact on The Cost of Care.”
Chrissy Farr
Principal and Health-Tech Lead, OMERS Ventures
Chrissy Farr is a Bay Area-based health technology investor. Prior to joining OMERS Ventures, she was a journalist covering the health-tech space for publications such as CNBC, Fast Company, and Reuters News. At Illuminate, Farr will be moderating the panel, “Can Data Drive the Future of Primary Care?”
Sach Jain
Chief Executive Officer, Carrum Health
After spending more than a decade in the guts of healthcare payment and realizing how broken the fee-for-service payment model is, Jain founded Carrum Health in 2014. Previously, he served as a leader in value-based care at companies such as Booz & Company (now Strategy&) and Accretive Health (now R1). A computer scientist and engineer by training, Jain was also a founding member of Muvee Technologies. At Illuminate, Jain will be speaking on the panel, “The Elephant in the Room: COVID’s Impact on The Cost of Care.”
Brian Marcotte
Advisor, BJ Marcotte Consulting, LLC
Marcotte is the former president and chief executive officer of the Business Group on Health, where he established the Health Innovations Forum and the Executive Committee on Value Purchasing, a cross-industry council focused on shifting the market toward value-based pricing and provider accountability. Prior to the Business Group, Brian served as vice president of Compensation and Benefits for Honeywell International. At Illuminate, Marcotte will be moderating the panel, “Employee Benefits Has Finally Gotten the Attention of the C-Suite—How Do We Keep It?”
Marcus Osborne
Former Senior Vice President, Walmart Health
Osborne previously served as senior vice president of Health Transformation at Walmart. In this role, he focused on furthering Walmart’s goal of improving the healthcare industry in the U.S. by increasing access and affordability for consumers, helping to launch Walmart Health and other key health initiatives. Prior to joining Walmart in 2007, Osborne served as the chief financial officer of the Clinton Foundation Health Access Initiative. At Illuminate, he will be speaking on the panel, “America’s Vulnerable Populations Live Inside (Not Just Outside) Your Workforce.”
